What? Yet another thing to read?

This blog attempts to put into writing, a series really important things that I want my children and spouses and grandchildren to know. Well, I think they're important, and I hope you will too.

In speaking of the goodness and mercy of the Lord, the great missionary Ammon said he could not "say the smallest part which I feel." And even though I haven't been overpowered by the Spirit to the point that I'm falling down on a regular basis as though I were dead, when it comes to my family, I do share the feeling with Ammon that I can't say the smallest part. But I figure I'd better at least make an attempt.

I initially was going to write a letter to each of you titled "Because I Didn't Know I Wouldn't Be Here To Say Goodbye", but I thought that sounded a bit depressing, and I don't want any of you to think I'm going to kick the bucket any time soon. But you get the idea. I want to write about ideas and feelings, and testimony that I wouldn't broadcast to the world at large, but that I want to share with my awesome family.

I'll try to keep my posts brief and maybe even a bit funny. I might even add some photos. Comments are are welcome. So are PayPal donations. (see, there's a bit of funny already)
